Oakland Schools
Oakland is a member of the RSU 18 school district which also serves Belgrade, China, Rome, and Sidney. Preschool through second grade aged children attend Atwood Primary School, third through fifth-grade students attend Williams Elementary School, sixth through eighth graders attend Messalonskee Middle School, and high schoolers attend Messalonskee High, all of which are located in Oakland.
