Life in Winslow
Located on the eastern shores of the Kennebec River and 35 minutes north of Augusta on I95, Winslow, Maine is an energetic town in a scenic setting. Residents of Winslow enjoy year-round recreation and a rich history that includes influences from Native Americans, the French, and English.
Fort Halifax Park, home to the oldest remaining blockhouse in the United States, is also located in Winslow. In 2014 the town was awarded a grant to improve and restore the park and raised over $80,000 in additional funds. You will find historic sites throughout the town of Winslow.
